Catalogue of Artefacts: Wizard's Collection

The official page to the Wizard's Collection have released 3 images from the 'Catalogue of Artefacts', a collectors book item featured in the boxset.

This 48-page rigid book was created by MinaLima Design: Eduardo Lima, Miraphora Mina and Lauren Wakefield, former graphic designers on the Harry Potter films.

Filled with their favourite props from the films designed in "shadow boxes", this stunning catalogue can only be found in the Wizard's Collection.

The images released show the cover of the 'Catalogue of Artefacts' book, various props related to 'Dolores Umbridge', and various packages of the 'Weasley's Wizard Wheezes'.

Let's hope this is jam packed with heaps of artefacts across all 8 movies.

Label Collection: Wizard's Collection

The official page to the Wizard's Collection have released 3 images from the 'Label Collection', a collectors book item featured in the boxset.

This 32-page, 5" x 7" perfect bound collection of prop labels from the films was designed exclusively for this collection (by MinaLima Designs). The book includes labels from potions, memory vials, Honeydukes and Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

This is just the first of many items to be included in the Wizard's Collection; and won't be available for purchase seperately or anywhere else. This set will be released in September 2012; and available for pre-order at Amazon or from the official WB website.

Personally, I think this item is a bit of a joke ... then again, maybe my mind will change when more images are released.

Wizard's Collection: Confirmed

The Harry Potter Wizard's Collection is finally confirmed!

The set will include all 8 movies. While I am very dissapointed that there are no extended cuts for movies 3 - 8; there will still be plenty of goodies inside.

This new limited and numbered 31-disc collection contains all eight Harry Potter movies on blu-ray, DVD, and Ultra-Violet digital copy; and more than 37 hours of special features including all previously released materials and more than 10 hours of new to disc bonus content, and more than 4 hours of never-before-seen content. This collection is the largest collection ever released by Warner Bros. (even though milking us dry by the release) and contains 8 artistic and authentic film memorabilia that are essential for anyone who has ever dreamt of being accepted to Hogwarts.

Memorabilia includes a map of Hogwarts, concept art prints, catalogues of props and posters, all designed by the graphic designers from the films. More will be revealed in detail in time!

You can pre-order this item from Amazon.com for $350 (excludes shipping) or from Amazon.uk for $295 (exludes shipping). The item retails at $599.

Visit the official page to this beauty for more details.
